Here is another Costco find that is really nice both on the palette and budget: Bousquet – Cabernet Sauvignon (2013) an Argentinian wine made with organic grapes. The label on the wine claims a 90 point rating from the Wine Spectator. As with most Cabernets, it is blended with another grape, in this case 15% Malbec. It has only been aged for 10 months in French Oak, so upon first sip and sniff you will notice a less oaky aroma and more berry (mostly blackberry) and vanilla overtones. A really jammy character with hints of currants and vanilla make this a great just drinking wine. I also paired this wine with Cheese, fruit, salami, left over BBQ chicken and nuts. Wow, it was great with all pairings making this a real versatile wine to use in any situation. You can pick this up for $14.95 @ Costco. I give this wine 4 glasses.
