Looking for a nice glass of wine on a rainy, cold evening? This Ghost Winery red wine with a cabernet base will be just right! A wonderful bouquet of berries with vanilla. Very smooth at the start and continues to the finish with a hint of coco. Didn’t need a lot of decanting, maybe 30 min to reach it’s potential.
This wine can be drank over the next 5 years easily sustaining the same level of intensity as today.
In addition, the wine cork had what industry professionals call “wine diamonds”. These crystals are called “Tartrates” that naturally occur when potassium and tartaric acid bind together to form a crystal. Viewed by many winemakers, sommeliers and academics as a sign of quality that indicates the wine is not over-processed. Crystals do not give the wine an unpleasant taste as is evident in this Ghost Winery red.
You can enjoy this wine by itself or pair it with almost anything! I easily give this wine 4 glasses!
