Right out of the shoot this Iris Pinot Noir from 1849 wines was captivating. Sparkling light ruby color and wonderful aroma’s of raspberry, strawberry, clove with tints of vanilla and oak. Wow, no wet dog here! Light bodied and packed with flavors like dried cherry, strawberry and spice. Lower tannins with higher acidity made this wine so crisp and fresh tasting. The finish was smooth and much longer than other pinot’s I’ve had in the past. This wine paired perfectly with our turkey breast that we Traegered. It was also wonderful on its own as a standalone drinking wine. I give Iris 4 glasses.
