When I popped the cork, there were sugar crystals on the bottom of the cork, which usually indicates high alcohol content. Every time I’ve had a bottle of wine with the crystals, I’ve never been disappointed. I opened a bottle of the 2014 in mid 2017 and it wasn’t ready. Opened this bottle in January of 2018 and it’s getting very close, so I’ll open the next bottle late this year. Fruit up front (very berry) and a nice dry finish, but it doesn’t last long enough! This is very good with Italian dishes! This why another year will definitely help this wine to blossom. You can only buy it at Round Pond Estate in Rutherford. I give it 3 glasses.
