With turkey day later this week, here are some good recommendations that won’t break the bank!
2014 Haven’s Winery Merlot $19.99
Deep purple color with black cherry notes and hints of chocolate and coffee. Full body but not overpowering! This will pair well with turkey for the red wine lovers!
2015 Trimbach Riesling Alsace France $16.99
Hints of citrus on the nose with fragrance of ginger and pineapple. A little dry but will pair well with turkey for the white wine lovers!
2016 Schloss Johannisberger Germany Riesling $18.99
Aromas of ripe citrus with a fresh juicy feel on the palate, on the sweet side. Great for those who want a sweet finish to that bite of turkey and dressing!
2016 Chalk Hill Sauvignon Blanc $16.99
Starts out with intense passion fruits of peaches and grapefruit. Medium body with a long finish. Great for red wine lovers who want something cold but the body of a red!
2016 Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio $18.99
Dry white wine with flavor of golden delicious apples. Another great white wine for turkey day!
I found these wines at my local Costco.
